"Sheep Song" – CCSF

Last night we had a small group for our meeting at the Church St. Café in San Francisco CA. We had a new artist Lori who along with Jeff Plotkin and myself to create a 5 page comic, a very Fenini-esc and strange story. A free form classic jam and a great way to introduce how to make a jam comic with someone new.

Here we go, click on an image to see it bigger.

St. Paul Conspiracy Cell Jam-O-Rama Report

The inaugural St. Paul Cartoonist Conspiracy Jam happened Thursday, October 18th and we have the images to prove it!

The founders of the cell – Bud Burgy (taking the picture), Kevin McCarthy (on the left), and Daniel Olson (on the right) – were the only ones to attend, but we will grow in numbers!

By clicking on the above image you will see our four page, potentially ongoing, creation: Tussles and Tights!

Scardy Cat – a spooky Jam Comic from the San Francisco Cell

Happy Halloween to everyone from the Cartoonist in the San Francisco Cartoonist Conspiracy. This year we have a treat for you (no tricks) with a brand new Jam Comic to read on-line.

The above E-Book includes a 9 page comic as well as concept art that was created to keep the characters looking close from page to page. Scaredy Cat was the SF-Cell’s first attempt at working from a script written specifically for a comic book.

The script is by Joe Borrelli with Art by these talented folks:

Cindy Chau, Mike Hales, Brian Kolm
Steve Leialoha, Lola, Jeff Plotkin, Doc Popular
Kraig Rasmussen, Rio Rath-Barreiro, and Daniel Salcido

WE LOVE FEEDBACK, so don’t be shy about letting us know what you think about the work. It’s easy to leave a comment and anyone can do it. Just click on the comment link below.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

May 3, 2007 Jam: FAITHMOLE

It’s been quite a while since I got a jam posted. Here is the one from this month. At Avidor‘s suggestion, the theme this month’s jam was Dan Lacey’s right-wing Christian webcomic Faithmouse (recent award winner… and loser… of the City Pages Best Locally Generated Blog (Right Wing))… see the results by clicking the below image.

WARNING: There is something in our jam comics to offend everyone. If you are easily offended, you may not want to view them. Children should strongly consider going elsewhere for their amusement.
