The Minneapolis Cartoonist Conspiracy meets at 6:30 until 9:00 or so the first Thursday of every month… except this month, we’re meeting the 2nd Thursday, since the first one lands on New Year’s Day aka Public Domain Day, and we’re not sure if the venue would be open. This month we’ll be meeting at Blackstack Brewing.

Generally, we draw collaborative jam comics, socialize and drink beverages.

This month we’ll be welcoming Betty Boop, Flip the Frog, Blondie, Dagwood, the Maltese Falcon, Animal Crackers and many, many other wonderful intellectual works created in 1930 into the public domain with our annual Public Domain Day jam! The meetings are open to anyone who wants to draw with us, and the results are usually posted here sooner or later (and sometimes even printed).
