San Francisco Jam this Thursday June 28, 2007

OK folks, time for all those cartoonist in the Bay Area to come on out and make comics! With easy access from public transportation, the jam at the Muddy Waters/Church St. Café is a great way to come together and create!

Just check out our awesome flyer designed by Mike Hales:

We’ll be finishing up the Bunnies vs. Robot story and starting a new comic tale. We’ll also be challenging ourself to ink Jack Kirby’s Thor as Doc Popular has done.

To get to the jam by way of public transportation:

From BART outside of SF:

Take BART into San Francisco getting off at one of the first four down town stations (Embarcadero, Montgomery, Powell, or Civic Center). You can get a MUNI $.25 discount coupon before exiting the station. Then you can take…

Underground MUNI OUTBOUND lines L,M,K,or T to Church St. Or you can also take the OUTBOUND J line and get off at Church and Market (by the big Safeway right after you emerge from the underground). Muddy Waters/Church St. Café are about a block away.

NOTE: The Church St. Station closes early at 9pm. Check with 511.org for exact details.

OR take the F line that runs along Market St. going away from the embarcadero plaza. Get off at the stop where Market and Church cross.
