The North Carolina WebComics Coffee Clatch, founded by Larry “mckenzee” Holderfield of Sinister Bedfellows, is a monthly gathering of webcomic and comic creators from central North Carolina. It provides a real life social network for webcomic and comic creators within central NC. The purpose of the meetings is to make contacts, exchange marketing ideas, discuss work ethics and creative processes, and most importantly just hang out. We recently published our first anthology, now available on Lulu.com

The September meeting of the NCWCCC will be held at Natty Greene’s Pub in Greensboro on Sunday, September 16th from 2 to 4.

A special second August meeting of the North Carolina WebComics Coffee Clatch will be held at Lilly’s Pizza in Raleigh, NC on the Saturday, August 18th from 2 – 4 pm. This will be a farewell Clatch for Ursula Vernon of Digger fame who is moving out of the area.

A second August meeting will be held at Lilly’s Pizza in Raleigh on Saturday the 18th from 2 – 4 pm. This will be a farewell Clatch for Ursula Vernon of Digger fame who is moving to California later this month. We all want to give her a great send off, so be there!

The August meeting of the North Carolina WebComics Coffee Clatch will be held in conjunction with Trinoc*coN’s Webcomic Summit on Friday, August 3rd from 9:00 to 11:00 PM in the Grand Ballroom II at the North Raleigh Hilton.

The July meeting of the NCWCCC will be at the Open Eye Cafe in Chapel Hill, NC on Saturday, July 14th from 2 – 4 PM. Hope to see ya there!

The May meeting will be at the Sheraton Imperial–Animazement Convention in Durham, NC on May, 26th at 2:00 PM. The meeting will take place in the hotel, not in the convention. We will meet in the lobby at 2:00 PM and then decide where to take it from there.

IMPORTANT: Parking will be difficult. If anyone asks, you are going to the convention. Also, due to other events in the area, the hotel recommends you avoid using Page Rd. to get to the convention/hotel.

Come join us for the April meeting of the North Carolina WebComics Coffee Clatch. This month’s meeting will be held at the Morning Times in Raleigh, NC on April 22nd from 2 – 4 PM. That’s on a Sunday, so parking shouldn’t be too bad. I think there is also a parking deck either next door or at least near by. Here’s a Google MAP

We will also discuss plans for a “coffee-related first anniversary book of the NCWCCC“. The Clatch’s first anniversary will be in August.
