First, I’d like to thank Steven Stwalley for inviting me to join this wonderful Conspiracy. I see there’s a lot going on here and I’m happy to be a part of it. I’ll do what I can to be as active a member of the online Conspiracy community as possible.<\/p>\n

Who am I? My name is Max Ink<\/a>; I’m the founder and organizer of the Columbus, Ohio cartoonists’ group Sunday Comix<\/a> . For my first post I wanted to puff my chest out a bit and share with you the ways that made 2007 a great year for our group in Columbus: our membership swelled to over a dozen regular members (who attend our once-a-month meetings), we hosted a fund raiser for the ACLU, we put on our first group gallery exhibit<\/a> (there are plans for more in 2008) and our group members now have an open invitation to submit their work to a local monthly arts paper<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Just so ya know: Sunday Comix meets once a month (usually on the third Sunday) at the Upper Arlington Library<\/a> from 2p-4p. We spend the first hour sharing our work and the second hour doodling Jams and afterwards, we usually hang out at a nearby eatery and chill.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
