\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 In addition to a shorter jam this month, we will also be taking part in the http:\/\/coveredblog.blogspot.com\/<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0project where an artist does a recreation of a comic cover. ANY comic cover, not just the “classics”\u00c2\u00a0like AMAZING FANTASY #15 or something.<\/p>\n

\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0 The guidelines are pretty simple to follow if you want to\u00c2\u00a0submit\u00c2\u00a0your cover to\u00c2\u00a0be posted on the\u00c2\u00a0Covered blog\u00c2\u00a0(http:\/\/www.robertgoodin.com\/submission.html<\/a>).<\/p>\n

\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Bring one(or more) of your favorite covers to redo, or to share with the group (yes, everyone gets their comics back).\u00c2\u00a0 Other comics will be there to parooze as well if you forget to bring one.\u00c2\u00a0 11×17 paper\u00c2\u00a0will also\u00c2\u00a0be provided, but feel free to bring any kind of drawing surface you prefer.<\/p>\n

The Minneapolis Cartoonist Conspiracy meets at 6:30 until 10:00 the first Thursday of every month at Diamond\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Coffee Shoppe in Northeast.<\/p>\n

Generally, we draw collaborative \u00e2\u20ac\u0153jam\u00e2\u20ac\u009d comics, socialize and drink caffeinated beverages. Afterwords, we often have uncaffeinated beverages somewhere else.<\/p>\n

The meetings are open to anyone who wants to draw with us, and the results are posted here sooner or later (and sometimes even printed).<\/p>\n
