What is Lutefisk Sushi?

Lutefisk Sushi is a collection of original mini-comics by Minnesota artists bundled up in a hand silk-screened bento box! The release of the box will be accompanied by a show at Altered Esthetics gallery in August. This is volume D of Lutefisk Sushi... you can see what the previous shows looked like here. The cover for Volume D will be in 3-D, and will come with a pair of red/blue 3-D glasses. Our featured artist for this volume is Danno Klonowski (Manly Tales of Cowardice).

Calendar of Important Dates

  • July 22nd Deadline for the Little Funny submissions
  • July 31st 1-3pm - Artist Potluck and art drop off @ Altered Esthetics Open to contributors to the LSD box, come meet other contributors and drop off your framed original comic art that you want hung. Frames should be black and the use of glass is discouraged.
  • August 6th 7-10pm - Opening Reception @ Altered Esthetics
  • August 21st 6-8pm - Artists’ Discussion
