JAM THIS THURSDAY IN MINNEAPOLIS (DECEMBER 4th)

The Minneapolis Cartoonist Conspiracy meets at 6:30 until 10:00 the first Thursday of every month at Diamond’s Coffee Shoppe in Northeast.

Generally, we draw collaborative “jam” comics, socialize and drink caffeinated beverages. Afterwords, we often have uncaffeinated beverages somewhere else.

The meetings are open to anyone who wants to draw with us, and the results are posted here sooner or later (and sometimes even printed).

  1. Hey Steve Stwalley,

Its been a while since I’ve participated in the comic jams, if you don’t remember me, I’m Kemal’s friend. Well I’ve been working with Bedlam Theatre a lot in the past year and the gallery director for the theater would be interested in holding a graphic arts gallery show and I mentioned you guys. He was excited about the idea. So if you are interested, please contact me.
Anyone who is interested can submit something.

  2. Thanks for everyone being so welcoming, gracious and Fun. That was one of the most interesting and productive Artist meetings I’ve ever had. The Jam was definitely more than what I was expecting, both in number of participants and quality of art. And between chuckles (you’re all hilarious) I actually got some panels done. An absolutely great experience. You all rock!
    Thanks.

  3. Once again, another super-fun night of jamming. I’m excited to see the scans. Lots of new people, it seems. It was great to see such a big group. Later!
